1 Conca d’Ôro hotel : the perfect hotel in Positano
The Conca d’Oro is one of the best hotels in Positano in term of quality price ratio. Perfectly located in the center of the city, the hotels has beautiful rooms with a typical décoration, balcony and a view on the village and the Sea. They serve the breakfast in the central terrace with a beautiful view. It’s very intimiste and romantic. The rooms are very lovely and typically Italian. As you can see on the photos, we totally feel in an Italian movie ! It’s very unique and romantic.
We really loved staying there. The staff is amazing, they are super accordant and kind. Also having the buffet breakfast on the terrace with a view on the city and the Sea was absolutely amazing !
2 Le Sirenuse : the most iconic hotel of Positano
The Sirenuse is the most emblematic hotel in Positano. Firstly because of its history, which began 70 years ago when Positano was still a small fishing village, but also because of its excellence, which has been recognized by Travel & Leisure, Andrew Harper and many others.
For lovers of architecture, Positano is an incredible source of inspiration but it is impossible not to go and admire the Sirenuse. Keeping the Italian vintage style, the Sirenuse puts you in a romantic atmosphere with the feeling of an old movie. You can admire all the Italian art of the Renaissance with Neapolitan notes.
The Sirenuse is a real experience. But indeed this experience has a price. It is necessary to count 2500€ for the room for two in the middle of July. But don’t worry, to enjoy this jewel lost in the heart of Positano, you can of course book a table in the hotel’s restaurant, La Sponda and Aldo’s or have a spritz at the bar !

3 Villa Fiorentino Positano : luxury and romantic
Villa Fiorentino is the perfect hotel for your stay in Positano. Its idyllic location offers an incredible view of the town and the sea. In terms of hotel accommodations, the VIlla Fiorentino offers an infinity pool and the possibility of having breakfast overlooking Positano. It’s also super romantic and perfect for a special occasion. The price is 800€ per night for 2 during High season.
4 Villa Franca : one of the best hotels in Positano
Between the cliffs and the sea, you will find the famous Villa Franca hotel, which offers a romantic and elegant experience. Offering a contemporary design, Villa Franca has taken the challenge of playing between the modern design of the hotel and the vintage charm of Positano. The hotel offers also boat trips, various restaurants and a spa. This hotel is also a luxury hotel, it’s amazing to be located in the center of the city, and experience a luxury stay. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful hotels in Positano.
5 Hotel Poseidon : on the heigh of Positano
In the heart of Positano, the Poseidon offers a warm and family atmosphere.
The hotel is known for its restaurant “Il Tridente” which offers one of the most beautiful views of Positano. Whether for breakfast or a meal, you will never tire of the view and the atmosphere.
It will be necessary to count 1500€ the night for two in the middle of July.
Travel tips : If you can’t afford staying there, have a lunch on their restaurant ! We had a lunch there on terrace and it was amazing. We tried the home made gnocchis with a Spritz it was super romantic !
6 Eden Roc Positano
The Eden Roc, like the Poseidon, is distinguished by its family atmosphere. Unlike the Poseidon, the Eden Roc does not have this Italian atmosphere in its architecture. However, it is a boutique hotel which offers a certain intimacy. It’s also a luxury hotel, during high season the prices are around 900€ per night. It’s a beautiful modern and minimalist hotel. You will love the view on the Sea from the rooms.
7 Villa Magia Positano
Villa Magia is an incredible hotel. It is one of the pearls of Positano.
Already for its view, even if you will tell me that it is the case for all the hotels but this one is particularly incredible. With the typical Positano atmosphere of the 80’s, the hotel immerses you in a movie.
The restaurant of the hotel is quite incredible because all the tables long the balustrade to guarantee an incredible view of the city.
8 Hotel bougainville : more affordable
The Hotel Bougainville is really well located in Positano and is way more affordable than the luxury ones we talked about previously. This 3 star hotel won’t disappoint you. The rooms have a beautiful Italian decoration : blue walls, mosaics… You will have a beautiful balcony with a view on the Sea and the village. It’s only 5 minutes walk to the beach ! The prices are around 400€ per night during high season. if it’s too much for your budget, we highly recommend staying in Amalfi, Sorrento or Piano di Sorrento. You will be able to be not so far from Positano but with a way cheaper price (around 150€ to 200 per night).
9 Hotel Solelula : a good price quality ratio in Sorrento
The hotel Solelula is not located in the center of Positano but not so far. It’s located in Piano di Sorrento which is really close. It’s a way to stay near Positano and save money. If you are traveling to Positano with a budget, it might be a good option. During high season the prices per night are around 180€ per night. Also, Piano di Sorrento and Sorrento are lovely places to visit and to stay. The hotel is nice, clean and it has a very good quality price ratio. The decoration is lovely with soft colors and minimalist vibes.
10 Hotel Reginella : the perfect compromise in Sorrento
The hotel Reginella is also not located directly in the heart of Positano but in Sant’ Agata which is only located at 9 kilometers. If you are coming by car or renting a car, you will only drive 20 minutes to the village. You will love the typical Italian decoration with modern vibes. The surroundings are very pretty, you will also love the village of Sorrento near there. All the area of Sorrento is really lovely. The hotel has a typical Italian restaurant that is very well rated !
